The Telecoms 2G spectrum scandal in which Govt lost revenue to the tune of Rs 60000/ Crores and to unearth the links CBI raided the offices of ten telecommunication companies on 24th.

Surprisingly without inviting the tender the spectrum has been licensed out to them on first come first serve basis and Govt got revenue of Rs 10772 Crore only, which was just what they would have got in Yr 2001 based calculations.

It is shocking and surprising why they didn’t went for open tender, which would have earned them revenue for more than Rs 70000 Crores.
Isn’t it contrasting that our leaders are traveling in Economy class for saving very small money and throwing bounties in loads of what they are saving. Now The DMK is already ready to save ‘A’Raja and protested the action by CBI.
