The most complicated thing in the world is our own Brain.The Brain regularly gives signals to other organs of the body to work and also generates ‘BRAINEWAVES”,which are electromagnetic.What would happen if the waves of others or a dead person overlapes or matches the frequency of your Brains and takes control of it.What would you say then a Ghost?[As per the Einstein principal Matter and energy can not be destroy].
American scientist are working on Neural Fingerprints,that generates when a person thinks and gives command to other organs,mouth and lips.If these scientist succeeds in the decoding of Brain control and Brain network,then a person can virtually controll another person,by his Brain.
If the scientist able to develop such a sensor,which can observe and read the minor electrical signals release by the Brain during thinking and issuing commands then it is possible.

i wouldn’t encourage that study to go on,i disapprove it,it will lead to eventual violation of other peoples rights and might be used by for the wrong reasons.

Any technology may be used for good and bad.Its good if you can read the ”Cruel” and Disastorous ideas and planning in advance,going in head of wicked peoples.

I don’t want anyone else sitting beside me should read and control my brain. The scientists should not make research on such things that will only lead to conflict and misunderstanding with your fellow being. Only the ghosts can do such odd things.

I could get my boss to agree to give me a raise, calm down angry people, persuade governments to do more to help those in need. Wishful thinking? Of course................(and, of course, to be serious, this is NOT the kind of research we need).

Thanks Sasmita,you are very much right what you said.when you can read the mind of the others,then sometimes the impact may be negative too.You can know,whats going on in yr’s partners or friends mind,if they are thinking some thing against you then.....
Yes,Michael,always there is postive and negative use of an invention,Niels Bohr never thought in his imaginations that the Atomic Energy can be used for the wrong purpose also.

Brain is complicated. Influencing it by a brainwave will further complicate it.

Thanks Neha for your perfect comments.Any technology can be used both way.Nuclear technology can be used for production of energy,in medical field and also in producing bomb.
It could have positive and negative effects, but feel in the end it would cause chaos...I could say, as a ”sound” citizen, I could use my powers to stop another from harmful actions...but would I stop there? I don’t think it is ethically correct, nor safe.. These ttpes ofprojects, historically, have been known to create more evil, rather than good... It kinda reminds me of the movie ”click”, in a round about way.

Like most of the above commentators, even i Despise the thought of others controlling or reading my thoughts. nature has its own codes, its better not to mess with it.
Agree with you Radhika..it is never good to know that someone else would be able to read your mind. The only positive side to this would be reading the minds of the criminals taken captive. Instead of hammering the heel out of them to revel the truth, we could place them in a helpless situation where they would reveal everything without just knowing it. Yet, from a broader prospective, such technology could proved bad if it lands up in the hands of such criminals.

I am sure people who came up with the concept, science and technology thought of the same things and we can rely on them to overpower this prospect of letting others know whats going on in our minds...meaning if you can know whats going on in others heads...you will also be given the chance to control how much they can reach into your brain...i dont know whether i explained myself clearly...but i think in the developed countries this will probably be used to bore into criminal minds...and be put to other good - restricted uses...hopefully...

How can a dead person’s brain emit any signal? As for a living person’s brain taking control over some one else’s brain ,well, it happens so often. When others command us and make us do work according to their demand, isn’t it that their brainwaves have overpowered our feeble minds?

Every student in their first science class I believe are taught that matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed but only changes from one form to another. But with a dead person, the body decomposes to elemental forms ( if we care to observe for so long). With the death of the organs the electro-magnetic signals are no more emitted. So how can we talk about brain signals coming from a dead body? As for parapsychology, I believe there is no scientifically tangible means to support such theories that are often considered as fallacies of the human mind.

Thanks Arpita,you are right,but the emitted signals of a dead person always exist and when the signals gets a ’medium’,gets controll of that.
