Fire At Indian Oil Depot in Jaipur; 12 killed and more than 200 injured

The fire which caused havoc at Sitapura Area, Tonk Road Jaipur may spread to nearby area and even to other oil depot which are located nearby.

Though a team of expert from Panipat and Mumbai may start operation to control by fogging and other methods. There are only few experts in the country to control such situations.

Few years back when a major fire broke out at Mumbai high,it took considerable time to control the situation. “The fire is massive. We are finding it difficult to douse it,” Petroleum Minister Murli Deora said three hours after the fire spread to adjacent storage tanks. The fire broke out at around 7.30 PM and it may be several hours before it is completely brought under control. Deora said he is leaving for Jaipur on Friday.

No body knows,the truth may ultimately come out or not,what exactly happened at the site.
We discussed what error might have been occurred and surprised that yes the operator didn’t first opened the last series of valves before opening the initial [Main]valve.
Such error an operator usually can’t commit and yes there may be some foul smell in this accident[Sabotage]because the CBI inquiry was also going on for huge theft of petroleum products.
